Kyle Vanderburg (b. 1986) is a composer and sound artist whose music lurks between “this sounds familiar” and “what!?” Raised in southeast Missouri, where the Mississippi River valley meets the Ozarks, Kyle grew up listening to a mix of American hymnody, bluegrass, high school band music, and power tools. Kyle's music has been performed at ICMC, SEAMUS, NYCEMF, Sonorities, MUSLAB, ClarinetFest®, and CMS.
