Composition masterclass with M° Philippe Manoury

Roma, 30 November - 5 December 2026

This year, as part of the De Musica - ovvero la fabbrica della creatività, Nuova Consonanza is organizing a composition seminar held by Philippe Manoury

The seminar will be held in Rome from 30 November to 5 December 2026.

Through the analysis of the composer's own scores and the work of the attendees, the course will focus on the aesthetic, technical and interpretative issues related to contemporary music in general and to Manoury’s music as well.

On December 5, the PMCE- Parco della Musica Contemporanea Ensemble led by Maestro Tonino Battista will dedicate a monographic concert to Manoury’s music at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, in Rome.

12 composers will be selected. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a recognized university or conservatory. The maximum age for candidates to participate is 35 years old by the start of the masterclass.

Associazione Nuova Consonanza will manage the selection process according to the available places. The registration fee for those accepted will be euro 100.
